How to Volunteer as a Coach

Volunteer Coaches are the backbone to a successful parks and recreation youth athletic program. Volunteers donate their time and knowledge to teach our young participants the values of teamwork, dedication, sportsmanship, and fundamental skills in each sport. They also serve as a positive role model, both on and off the field.  If this sounds like you, than contact Jack Clelland at 919-930-7551 or at to learn more.  All Volunteer Coaches must submit and pass a background check and coaching application before assuming the role of Head or Assistant Coach.  Coaches are required to follow a strict Code of Ethics policy through our Volunteer Coaching Policy.
